I have this thing for animals, that when I see poor animals struggling to survive, they’ll break my heart more than anything, including humans. Comparing a poor human and a poor animal, I will sympathize the animal more, because I know animals are actually quite dependent as they do not have many skills that humans have. They can’t earn for their living. They can only go around scraping for food around garbage areas. I stumbled upon Animal Shelter in Brunei, and there are many many sad stray dogs that were ran over by irresponsible people, leaving them in heavy wounds and paralysis. One even had maggots in it’s wounds due to straying for too long. Almost everyday, along the highway, at least an animal would be ran over, until their remains disappear as cars come and go. It’s really a sad state to see innocent animals bearing these kind of pain. All they wanted was just to live, and yet, they have to suffer under the hands of cold hearted, irresponsible, hair brained, ill-considered individuals.

My Buddy turned 3. If I have a wish, I wish all dogs (animals) can have their birthday celebrated.
